These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Exilefolio ("we", "us", or "our") and the website and services available at exilefolio.com (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Exilefolio is a free tool that helps Path of Exile players monitor currency and wealth over time using data from the official Path of Exile API. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract and comply with applicable laws to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with Grinding Gear Games' terms and API policies.
3. Accounts and authentication
You sign in through Grinding Gear Games OAuth. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the security of your PoE credentials. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by abusing API rate limits
- Reverse engineer or scrape the Service except as permitted by law
- Use the Service to develop a competing product through systematic extraction of data
5. Third-party services
The Service integrates with Grinding Gear Games and other third-party providers. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms. Exilefolio is not affiliated with or endorsed by Grinding Gear Games.
6. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, including software, branding, and design. Path of Exile and related assets are trademarks of Grinding Gear Games. Game data accessed through the API remains subject to applicable third-party rights.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that snapshots, valuations, or other outputs will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Exilefolio and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time.
10. Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply.
